Unictam 250 mg suspension is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination containing Sultamicillin, which is a prodrug of Ampicillin and the beta-lactamase inhibitor Sulbactam. This combination effectively targets a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria by overcoming bacterial resistance. It is commonly prescribed for pediatric patients to treat various bacterial infections, including upper and lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media, urinary tract infections, and skin or soft tissue infections.
