NAPIBRADINE

Napibradine is a pharmaceutical product containing Ivabradine, a medication primarily used for the symptomatic management of stable angina pectoris and chronic heart failure. It works by selectively inhibiting the If current in the sinoatrial node, which reduces the heart rate without affecting myocardial contractility or blood pressure. This allows for improved cardiac oxygen supply and demand balance. It is typically prescribed for patients who cannot tolerate or have contraindications to beta-blockers, or in combination with standard therapy to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death or hospitalization in patients with heart failure.
