Lezberg Amlo is a prescription combination antihypertensive medication containing two active ingredients: Olmesartan medoxomil and Amlodipine. Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels, while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) that dilates blood vessels to improve blood flow. Together, they work synergistically to effectively lower high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by a single agent. Lowering high blood pressure helps reduce the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and heart attacks.
