Diacurimap Plus is an oral hypoglycemic medication formulated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It combines two active ingredients, Empagliflozin (10mg) and Linagliptin (5mg), which work synergistically to improve glycemic control. Empagliflozin, a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, helps the kidneys remove glucose from the bloodstream through urine. Linagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, increases insulin secretion and decreases glucagon levels in a glucose-dependent manner. This combination therapy is highly effective when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate blood sugar control.
