TAROLIMUS OIN 15GM 0.1%

Tarolimus Ointment 0.1% contains tacrolimus, a topical calcineurin inhibitor used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) when other treatments have not been suitable. It works by calming the overactive immune response in the skin that causes redness, itching and inflammation, without the skin-thinning effects associated with long-term steroid use. It is applied as a thin layer to the affected skin areas as directed by a dermatologist. It is a prescription topical medicine and not a regular moisturizer.
